99 3.0 trans problems
 

Hey guys, new here. Bought a 99 Accord with a 3.0 v6, and a possibly bad trans. Engine has 291,xxx miles. Drove fine a week ago, now the trans is out. When in d4, I have to hold rooms at around 3500 just to get it in gear. Same with reverse.

Also, when putting it in Park, it takes a Seco d or two, then shifts HARD into Park, and clans.

Could it be a shift solenoid, or do I need to rebuild?

I'd start by checking the fluid level in the transmission.

Then I could check for engine/transmission codes.

Transmission fluff level is fine
