im a noob to this forum amen for the internet there seems to be a great deal of activity on the forum.

i own a 99 honda accord ex and the maintenance light stays on

I was also wondering what would be the best diagnostic computer for a 99 honda accord ex ?? that would also work great for a 2007 honda accord <--- my wife has a 2007

Hi,decadude,welcome,you can reset the maintanance light by the trip meter button,
just do a search for maintanance light reset in search box.from what i remember its pretty easy,as for a diognostic tool,i bought one off e-bay called an elm 324 or something like that,its pretty cheap and it does the job,resetting fault codes and a lot more.but its just a cable and software,as i use my own lappy.good luck matey

the cel needs to be read and diagnosed if that light is on, the maitnce light, hold down the trip reset button on the instrument cluster, then turn the ignition to run, hold the trip until it goes off. you'll need to do this every 5000 miles or so i think.
