ABS/VSA lights on

I have a 2003 Honda Accord 2.4i-vtec exec. Recently, the ABS/VSA warning lights came on and I had the fault diagnosed at my local garage (with a Bosch diagnostic machine). It showed that the rear right ABS sensor was faulty. I replaced this but all the warning lights did not go out and over the last few weeks the lights have been going off and on, until just 2 days ago all the warning lights are on permanently - i.e. ABS, TRIANGLE and VSA. Once again, I had my local garage diagnose the problem and the diagnostic read-out said 'Core timer - rear right sensor'. Unfortunately didn't notice what the code was. Has anyone any idea what might be wrong? I have read so many threads where the ABS modulator has gone and the cost to fix is about £1600 that I am slightly worried that this may be the case. :(

I’m going to move this to the right thread so you can get your questions answered

Sorry to drag up a ten year old thread, but did you ever find out what the issue was? Mines doing the same right now 🤦‍♂️
