Default Adjusting Headlights

I know this sort of sounds like a easy question but for some reason Honda decided that with 2005 accords, and probably other recent years, they don't want their drivers to be able to adjust their headlights by themselves. I recently installed some new headlights in my 05 LX and found out that night that I had one of them points about four feet in front of my car while the other one seemed fine. Now usually on other cars I've owned there have been adjustment screws and levelers associated with the headlight housing that allowed for the correct alignment of the beam but not so with my car. I looked in the manual to see if there was some other way to do it and the only information it provided was to take it to a dealership and let me do it. I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this subject for me and let me know if there is any way I can do this myself, and if so how, or if I really do have to take it to the dealership and pay ~$60 for five minutes worth of work.

Thanks.

Look on the back side of the headlight unit for a geared wheel about the size of a bottle cap, a phillips screwdriver should fit in the gear teeth.
I'm 90% surethats the way the newer headlights are setup.

This isbased on our 2003 which I can't go & actually look at the moment...

Open the hood, look at the black plastic shroud above the radiator. It sorta covers the metal brace at the top of the radiator. Lookfor a hole in that shroud out near the fender. There's a little emblem with a double-ended arrow & +/- marks. Use a long-bladed phillips, sorta large size. The business end of the phillips screwdriver engages a toothed wheel sorta like a ring & pinion gear. That's the bottle-cap thing HondaDude is talking about.

It's just down in the bottom of that little hole & you can't easily get a good look at it...

It should be more than just an adjustment. If you get close to a garage door or some kind of wall, you notice that each headlight has a beam that's higher on the curb side and lower on the side of oncoming traffic. So your UK headlamps shine higher on the left and lower on the right. Opposite way for us here in US (presumably in Spain also) - beam is higher on the right & lower on the left.

You might simply have to lower the beam enough to stop blinding oncoming cars. That in turn makes it too low on the right which is annoying but maybe not illegal. I suspect that's one thing for a trip; but if you're permanently moving you might have to replace the headlights with units that are legal in Spain.
