Unhappy 95 accord V6 Timing belt issue

is the 95 v6 an interferance engine? i have a 95 that the timing belt has worn through the timing cover and seems to be very loose. the engine started to run rough all of a sudden then died. Looking at the dist. rotor, it is no longer in time. What is the possibility of this destoying the valve trane? Do I put a new belt on and keep my fingers crossed?

Its an interference engine.

If the belt only jumped 1 or maybe 2 teeth, then you may be ok. If the belt is not turning the camshafts, then the valves likely got damaged.
