Any reason to NOT mount 205 tires in place of stock 195 tires on a 2000 Accord...?

I have a good set of winter tires on 5 lug steel rims for a 1998 V6 3.0L Accord EX size 205/65R/15.

My sister has a 2000 4cyl 2.3L Accord EX with 195/65R/15 tires on it, 4 lug pattern.

I want to mount the 205's on new steel rims and install them on my sister's car for next winter. They are 15" tires so I know they will fit on 15" rims for the 2000, but does anybody know if I'll have any clearance issues or any other issues with the 205's compared to the 195 stock size?

Can anybody give me a good reason why I should do this?

Thanks for any help!

Should be OK.
The stock tire for the 2000 V6 cars was 205/65-R15 just like your 1998. So the fender clearances won't be any different. Only the bolt pattern which you already know about.

Thanks Jim. My 2000 is only a 4cyl not the V6 so the stock for it is a 195/65/15 vs. the 205/65/15 for the V6. I'm hoping the fender clearances between the 4cyl and V6 models are exactly the same, which I'm sure they are, so the 205's fit. Thanks for the info.
