auto tranny problem...HELP!!!
 

I have a 94 honda accord that has a d4 light flashing on the center console. what's happening is when driving the car the transmission seems to be skipping the 1st, and 2nd gear and will down shift unitl it hits 3rd gear. I have had a mechanic replace the transmission module once and a sensor once here recently. Anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this to happen. this is the second transmission this car has had and really cant afford to buy or get it rebuilt again or even buy another car.

The D4 light flashing means the transmission computer detected a problem. You should check for engine and transmission codes. Read the DIY thread called how to check CEL codes in the DIY section. Post any codes you find.
