BAD Road noise

Hey guys, first post on this site, my appologies if its in the wrong spot, hoping you all can help me out. I have a 4 cyl 98 2 dr accord with about 120,000 on it, bone stock. I have a loud noise coming from the front drivers side wheel area, the noise increases as the speed increases until about 80-85 then gets quieter. Both front tires show wear on the very inside of the tread, about 2 inches wide. Have tried replacing breaks/calipers, also allignment and wheel rotation. Also the noise is less intense while taking turns the the left than taking turns to the right. If anyone has any ideas please let me know, its getting to the point where its hard to hear the radio, a headache on long trips. Thanks.

My thought could be a wheel bearing/CV Joint? I am new to the sight also but just a general thought.

Sounds like a wheel bearing to me.

x2 on the wheel bearing, however based on the wear pattern i would say your tires are low on air too.

im having this same problem. i have a 2000 v6 with aftermarket wheels and fuzion ZRi tires. i know having lower profile tires and wheels can cause the ride to be a little more rough but mine didnt used to be as bad as it is now. its getting so bad that its embarassing to have people in my car. it seems like it starts at about 43 mph and goes to 60ish then stop vibrating so bad. i havent checked my pressure in a while so i will do that tomorrow, but what else could it be?

I dont see anything in post#5 that rules out a bad wheel bearing.

I hate to agree but I agree with all who say wheel bearing. It just had to replace one on my 06 Accord LX (62,000 miles). Good luck as it is a little expensive at the dealership.

Usually a bad wheel bearing will get louder & softer as you steer left or right. The sound or tone is more speed related.

after doing some research ive narrowed it down to 3 things it could be-wheel bearing, cv joint, or i just need to get my tires balanced (highly doubtful). im going to take it to the shop soon, ill let you know what they say.
