Battery died, had to jump start, now radio does not work - HELP

Hello, I am a newb to this forum.
I have a brand new '05 Honda Accord Hybrid with NAV.

I dropped my car off today to get the windows tinted and when I picked it up the guy told me how the battery died and he had to jump start it.

Well, the navigation screen would only come up with a CODE entering screen. Efectively, the NAV and the Radio functions did not work.
I called the Honda dealership and it was almost closing time, but the service guy said there was a code in the glove box and there was a 4 digit # and a 12 digit #. I entered the 4 digit one in the nav screen and hit enter and the NAV was operational, but NO Radio, No XM, No Seek, No AM/FM, nothing. So the Honda guy said there was a radio code too. He took the 12 digit code and cross referenced it with his system and gave me a 5 digit code and said that it was the radio code. Now I just had to figure out how to enter it, because there was nothing prompting me to enter it. Finally I found that pushing in on the tuning button changed the upper dash mini screen (where the temp and radio display comes up) to a number, and when I turned the dial there were selectable numbers and pushing in on the tuning button selected the number and the left side of the screen began spelling the word CODE letter by letter as I entered the numbers. The problem is that I have tried the code the delatership gave me, I have tried the same code I used to fix the navigation, but I cannot get the thing to take the code, it just keeps saying error.

Any help that anyone could provide to get this fixed would be GREAT!

Thanks,

Todd

RE: Battery died, had to jump start, now radio does not work - HELP

i would take it to the dealership and see if they could figure it out...just because you wouldnt want to mess something up and it end up costing you tons of money...and since the tint guy seems like he's the one that made your battery die if the dealership charges you to fix it just tell the tent guy he should pay for it since he is responsible...just my idea..
