Brake rotor question
So i have an 05' accord with rotors on the front brakes, but brake drums on the rear. Can i buy rotors for the rear and have them swapped? the brake drums are pretty ugly

You can change your Accord over to four disc brakes but it will require a lot of new parts, not just the rotors
|
Find a 2005 Accord EX in a junkyard & pick up most of the rear suspension.
Not sure, but you might have to grab the brake proportioning valve. |
if you had a 90-97 Id have you set...but like Jim said go to a junk yard or pick n pull and find your gen and get the WHOLE rear set up off the car.
|
Basically you need EX spindles, hubs, rotors, calipers and ebrake cables. The proportioning valve is optional. The valve would be the correct way to do the swap, but it is functional with the drum proportioning valve.

lol it won’t fit his car :( but I do that so that someone reads the post and see that I have the parts and then mistily get a PM about them. It's worked be4

i did not think changing brakes would be that involved. haha, do you guys think it would look stupid if i paint the front calipers like blue or red or something, and just leave the rear brake drums as is?
