Bumper Light Conversion Contimuation..
If u use three wire sockets.. like extra brake sockets, then yes, you can wire them up to blink and for running lights. I used extra brake sockets like OP did from junkyard, and ran signal wire up to corner lights.. works great!
So, my 93ex has just two wires, a black and a green behind the bumper lights... I used a brake light socket again, but this time it doesn't work. I can only seem to get either the running light or the blinker to work..
Can anyone tell me why this does not work that same for 92-93 accords?
Is there something special about the 92-95 civic corner lights??

Did you get another Accord?
First, I hate electrical. If you give me the normal set up....x number of wires, this one hot when Y, this one ground when Z (or all the time)...how you want them to work (on with headlights and a "brighter" flash when turning- like brake lights) I bet with s bit of time we can come up with something.
We should do this in Gen Tech....then once we figure it out you can write up something and post it here.

With the conversion, make sure to use correct dual filament bulbs where the bumper lenses is. Also, make sure the bulbs are good.
The original bulb was a single filament bulb with a 2-wire socket. The conversion uses a dual filament bulb with a 3-wire socket; the third wire is spliced into the power wire from the corner parking light.

I'm using three wire brake sockets from a 93 accord, red/w black stripe, orange, and black wires. Basically ground, signal and running light. Same ones I used on my 90 accord when I did this mod just like OP.
I have brand new amber dual filament bulbs, high and low side, it the bulb to be used in that brake socket
Unlike the 90-91 accord, behind my 93-92 style bumper light, there are just two wires, black ground and turn green.
- I wanted the turn to be the brighter of the two filaments do I attached it to the orange wire(brighter side of bulb). Ran a wire to corner light, tapped in to the running light and attached that to low side of bulb, (red/w black stripe). And just connected the grounds.
Done.. However it's just a turn signal still.. Can't seem to get power through the socket to the bulb... All wires are hot except ground of course.
Starting to doubt my sockets but they are mint for 20 years old...
