A/C and heater/cooling knob lights

Hey guys it's me again. It's been bugging me how i see my a/c and fan knob lights not working almost all the time and works once in a blue moon.
Here is a picture of the knob i'm talking about. The knob lights are never on when i need it most - not that i can't live without it, it's just nice to have it working properly.

It is a bit of a chore to get to the bulbs to change them....you'll have to decide if it is worth it.....I live with it on my 95, call me lazy. One day, enoigh of them will go out or I'll need to be there for something else and I will get to them then.

How is it done anyways? take out the console and the dash?

edit: removing the cluster seems like a lot of work :(

You have to take out the center console, then the bezel around the radio. Then you have to take out the part that holds the switches and the knobs.

Suggest going to the common diy thread on top of the gen tech help forum, open the online shop manuals link, then download a 94 shop manual to see how you do it. It isn't that bad of a job. I did it a few times on my 95.
