Can you remove the black trim on the bumpers covers?
 

I want to freshen up the Accord I have.
Its a 1993.

I just finished all the rust, door dings and rock marks in the front.
My car now has a temporary nickname Spot, for primer/Duplicolor paint patches.

Anyway.. I am looking at the Black molding on the Bumper covers they look beat. Can you just paint them?

Also exterior door molding looks like you can remove it but I am not sure how.

Its still warm in Chicago so I am doing exterior while I can. Then working on the mechanics this fall. Next year/winter the interior.
I am not making it a show car just a nice car.
