Carbon button on 2000 Honda distributor cap
 

I replaced my distributor cap, rotor, and gasket today. I ordered the parts from HPN and received them within 4 business days. If you order from HPN, you don't have to purchase a new gasket, one comes with the cap.

One question, I didn't look into the new cap to see the length of the carbon button. I looked at my old one, and it's approximately 3/16th long (after 150K). I also noticed wear on the brass top of the rotor. What is the length of the carbon button when new?
