climate control panel thing semi-stuck
 

hello, making a new thread because its basically unrelated. For a while the "foot" button on the control panel would not press (stuck) so like an idiot a pressed a little harder and it went in...lol. now none of the buttons will stick down, i have to hold them down and only the outer two. (full defrost and foot/face) actually produce the sound of the motor that changes the flow) The light for the "foot/defrost" one is stuck on. I took it all apart and it seems like their is not much i can do, their are little plastic blue things that seem to control this action but its so small i don't think i have a chance of fixing it.

That said, the only part i would need to replace would be the PCB board itself, as all the switches are attached directly to that.

1) does anyone know WHAT this is called? while i can find the outer plastic part of the bezel, i can not seem to find the electronic part anywhere.

2) does it matter if the new board has the A/C switch? (car has no a/c)

Sounds like you might want to grab a spare unit from a bone yard.
