Considering a used 2007 Accord SE

I just test drove a 2007 Accord SE and have some questions. Does this radio/stereo have a MP3 connection? Did these cars when new have Michelin tires? The car has 34K and the tires have about 50% tread left. This just doesn't seem right because most tires will go 40K-50K. If it's on a second set of tire that are half or more worn out then the mileage is wrong. Last question I promise. Is this year model prown to any reoccuring problems? Thanks in advance for any answers.

Thanks,
Lowell

My 2007 Civics have a 3.5mm jack for "aux-input". I would guess Accord of the same year should have it too. Check owner's manual. Also, the CD player can play MP3 or WMA files written to data CDs.

4-cyl? V-6? Auto? Manual?
I've heard some people complain of rough action of the 6-speed manual tranny.
There's also something about rear brakes wearing fast, but part of that might be driving habits.

My 2003 came with Michelin MXV4 & they lasted pretty long, like 50k miles. At that point the CAR had over 60k miles on it, because I swapped to snow tires in winter.

Michelin was the oem tire on 07 accord. It is not at all uncommon for them to go 60-70k miles when maintaned and not abused. No common problems on 07's. I do not beleive there was a 3.5 mm jack on accords until 2008 I could be wrong.

The thing about rear brakes wearing fast isn't driving habits, but it is also 2008 and newer. With the 08 redesign the cars got heavier and the brakes didn't get bigger. There seems to be an issue with the surface of the back side of the rotor. The 08-09 accords eat the inboard rear pad and the outboard wears just fine.
