First easy thing....pull the connector from the "upper hose" thermo switch _ thermo B.
If the fan stays on, we then have to get into the relay and the timer. |
ok so i put a new fan switch in today not the thermostat housing one the one on front of motor and the fan stopped coming on after i turn car off but i dont think its coming on at all now unless i have ac on. i let the car idle for 10 min and no fan came on but its not over heating either so im a little confused is my gauge in the car not reading right its going to normal temps tho

When the car is running at idle, it can take quite a few minutes for the fans to cycle - 20 or so. To speed this up you can hold the rpm's up....of course you are keeping an eye on the temp gauge the whole time.

So Accord9573, what year car do you have? 1995? Yours has AC while Tony's does not.
Tony... Sorry I got busy at work for a few days. Poorman's your guy, he knows 92 better than I do. |
