I have a 2001 EX. Half of the time it runs fine, the other half of the time, while driving, the engine sputters and jerks at 3000 rpm. The code says that its a bad "camshaft position sensor unit" I've had a brand new distributor installed but it did not fix the problem. does anyone have any other ideas as to what the problem might be?

 

Did you get the code number?
It might be flaky wiring to that sensor, rather than a bad sensor.
