Cross frame in front of radiator?
 

This may sound noobish to most of y'all but what's the name for the part in front of the radiator that latches your hood????

Core support

It depends which part your are talking about.

The small part (~4x4 inches) that has the hood release lever and the hook (striker) is called the hood latch.

The large metal piece that goes across the entire front of your car that the radiator, headlights, hood prop, etc is called the radiator support (or core support like chris said).
