Has anyone constructed their own custom interior carpet or worked for a company that does this kind of thing?

How difficult is it and what kind of carpet should I use? What are some things to keep in mind when undertaking this project?

 

It's fairly easy to do it's hard to do right.... since those footwells and stuff are all curved and sunken it takes a little bit of work to get it to all fit together properly
