CV Axle Problem

So I took my car in for new brakes. I got my car back drove it home and noticed an odd sound. I took it back to the shop and they informed me my axle was broke. Now they never said a word when I paid my bill or when I left. It wasn't until I drove away and returned within 10 minutes to be told my axle was broke. I need so help here bc I was never in any accidentsx I've never hit anything and I always take my cat on for regular maintenance

I moved your post to a new thread. Read posting rules.

While it is suspicious timing, the axle is usually not affected by brake work. You are unlikely to get help from shop in claiming axle failure resulted from brake work.

CV Axles are a common failure component.

You should add year and trim of your accord to your signature to allow better responses.

good luck

CV joint failure in front wheel drive car is just an occurrence when you keep the car long enough. Noise shows up in low speed turns especially.

I drove a Nissan ~15,000 miles with it clicking like that, so you don't have to get it fixed immediately. Luck to you. Not the shop's fault.

Like Texas Honda, I'm assuming that CV joint clicking is what is meant by "the axle's broke..."
