In dash clock
Hello all,
I've noticed from the posts here that changing the clock bulb is easy, but how about the clock itself? Thanks. |
RE: In dash clock
instead of buying a bulb buy the whole clock,,
you got to pry it off to replace the bulb ,, well depends on year and model of course .. some clocks you might have to pry the frt bazel off and remove screws so like i always say INPUT THE YEAR AND MODEL IF YOU WANT THE PROPER INFORMATION By the wy Welcome to HAF.. ;) |
RE: In dash clock
Oops!
2001 Accord LX 4-door. The clock itself isn't working and I was thinking of buying the unit and changing it myself, if it isn't too hard. |
RE: In dash clock
have you checked the fuse ??
chk fuse 13 7.5 amps rt pass fuse box under dash fuse # 9 7.5 amps driver side under dash fuse box |
RE: In dash clock Bulb 1999 accord
I changed out the clock bulb and must of caused a short because I forgot to disconnect the battery. Now all my power windows, moon roof don't work. Also, I can't shift out of park. The brake lights work. I visually checked the corresponding fuses and they look ok. Do you think it might be a relay?

RE: In dash clock display Bulb 1999 accord
If for some reason you cause a spark when inserting the bulb, there's a good a chance
you may blow fuse #9 (instrument/brake) located on driver's side fuse panel. This causes the sun roof and power windows to not work. Also , I couldn't shift out of park. Doesn't seem too logical , but it happens. So after following "Deserthonda" advice, I noticed fuse #9 was blown, so I replaced it. Now everything is back to normal. |
