Dash/Park light delay

1991 Accord having a delayed reaction when turning on park lights.

When I turn my headlight switch to the park lights position, there is a delay of between 10 and 30 seconds before the park lights, tail lights, and dash lights come on. I've checked my headlight relay and my fuses and they're fine.

When I turn the switch to headlights, the headlights come on instantly, but the park lights wait for a bit before they flip on.

Is there an under-dash relay I'm not checking? Any other ideas?

It may be a problem in the switch itself.

From what I've been able to find, the park lights are direct wired, while the headlights run off of a relay. I'll be checking the connectors on the switch tomorrow morning, but wouldn't the headlights also delay if it was the switch at fault?

If the contact in the switch was weak for just the parking lights, then that could explain your problem.

Yeah, parking lights and headlights are 2 separate circuits through the switch.
