Dashboard indicator lights came on while driving. AC quit blowing cold
I've got a 99 Honda Accord with 140K miles. Its it great condition but the other day the door/brake lamp, battery, and brake indicator lights came on and stayed on all of a sudden and at the same time, the AC quit blowing cold. I replaced the ac fuses but problems still exist.

Possibly may be related to the alternator. Get the alternator checked, many auto parts store will check for free.
The indicator light with a battery symbol is for the charging system. |
Common connection that could enable Battery light and brake light (e-brake & brake fluid level) is the safety indicator circuit. A fault in this circuit could provide a ground path to enable e-brake and alt lights.
High or low battery voltage might cause some symptoms. Suggest having battery and alternator checked. Not sure what you mean by "brake indicator", perhaps brake light warning lights? No connection is apparent w/ AC system failing at same time. Fuse 3 (driver's under-dash fuse box) and Fuse 13 (pax under dash fuse box) should be checked. good luck |
