My car didn't like starting in the cold weather either. Turns out the battery was dying. Replaced that and it's better now. You have an 06 so I dont how long a battery is supposed to last, but it wouldn't hurt to check.

I forget what brand my battery is, but it has lasted me for YEARS!!! I park outside with California temperature. Starts quick, I never needed a jump. I stored the car in a garage for 2+ months during winter times and it started without a problem.

I will get you the brand later today.

in temps around 20f or lower the 03-07 accords seems to start sluggishly but still catches, even with a new battery. who knows why..

if you want to do a simple diagnostic test on the battery/starting system you can do so pretty easily. pull the fuel pump fuse and have a friend crank the engine over for ~15 seconds. while hes doing that hold a voltimeter across the battery terminals. if the voltage stays above 10 volts your OK. below 9.6ish and you should start to worry.

~15 seconds feels a little too long to me. i see voltage drop to 10.5v after just 2-3 seconds of cranking. sure, i see your point in stressing the battery, but a load test from a machine would be better in my opinion. [sm=americanasmiley.gif]
