disable recalling driver position memory

Hi there

I own a 2012 Honda Accord V6. When I unlock the driver’s door with the remote transmitters (Driver 1 or Driver 2), depending on what remote I use, each remote transmitter activates the customized settings related to that remote. The driver’s seat starts to move to the positions stored in memory.

Is there any way to disable that functionality?

I had read on the older Accords, this functionality could be disabled by unlinking the remote by pressing and holding Lock and Unlock on the remote for a period of time. That doesn't seem to be supported on the 2012 Accord.

Still want to disable memory seat setting

Someone who used my 2013 Accord EX-L set up the two seat positions. It is annoying and I want to disable the settings so that the seat does not move every time I get in the car. Can someone please share the process with me?

Why don't you just set a new position?

Thanks but I don't want the seat to move when I get in. I easily slide in and out of the car with the seat in the driving position.

I don't understand; if you set a new position and leave it there, then the seat shouldn't move regardless of how many times you get in and out of the car.
