Default car is totally dead?

Hello everybody!
i new here and i hope i am posting in the right place.
i have 99 accord v6 4 door with 125000k.
here is the story.
one day ago car started making noises while turning the steering wheel at low speeds 10mph and at idling. but at normal acceleration and 50mph noise goes away.
so day later 1/4 away from my house all the light went on:
doors open, seatbelt, engine and some others , i cant remember now. so i parked at home did some stuff came back 30 min. later and car i totally dead.
no light , no start.
i think hopefully alternator is dead, witch probably killed my battery.
what do you think?
Thanks,
Saeed.

Exclamation HI Member

Take battery and alternater out and cart it off to your
Local AutoZone and have them check it for you before you
tear anything else apart.
