RE: Dome light Problems
Your dome dims out? Mine just turns on and off with the door... I guess I fail and now you fail too.

Doors closed but dome light stays on when in 'middle' position? Any suggestions? Thanks; |
Was this after the conversion to LED? If so, the LED doesn't draw enough power to used the stored energy in the capacitor that causes the fade-out, if they have it designed so that is dependent on the bulb. Otherwise, you may have toasted the transistor the controls the dimming.
LEDs are nice in that they are colorful and cool, but not every incandescent bulb can be replaced by them properly. LEDs don't fade/dim, they are usually on/off. |
