what happens when it doesn't start? Does the starter motor turn the engine when you turn the key on? Have you checked for any blown fuses? There is a fuse box under the driver's dash and in the engine bay.

no nothing happens its just like its dead, even trying to change the battery. yeah i didnt see any blown fuses anywhere, plus i dont think a blown fuse would make the power windows go down on there own without hitting any buttons i dont think anywyas lol

The window thing sounds like the main switch on the driver side door is fried. The electrical burn from behind the radio may be the ECU.

jeff do you have an aftermarket radio installed or still the OEM? My buddy had an aftermarket radio installed and somehow the ground wire on the radio had some of the coating on the wire rub off and needless to say shorted a whole lot of stuff and made his car act funny as well.

sounds to me a wire shorted out and started burning, and blew out a bunch of stuff in the car. I would have a very skilled mechanic check it out.

x2 on the shorted wire. It sounded like you were implying the radio is not original, maybe a bad wiring job, ie twisted wires and electrical tape? As for what falkore said about the ECU, smell the carpet and area around the passenger kick plate.
