I'm due for an emissions test next month. The car has never been tested before so I don't have any history on it. What emissions componets should I clean or replace before the test? I've recently changed the distributor cap & rotor, spark plugs & wires, fuel filter, and the PVC value. I also adjusted the valve lash.

chk the air filter, replace it if it is dirty ,,

some other emission related componets you have no way of knowing if they are working properly,, but most of the time you would get the chk engine lite coming on

chk engine lite has not come on correct ???

also car being that old you might want to get a new gas cap ,, they will test it and fail emission if cap is no good
