f22/f23 hybrids
So I have a question I have two motors one a f22 vtech and a f23 vtech I want to put the f22 top end on the f23 bottom end would that work or would I have problems .

I doubt all of the passages lineup. The only way to check is to lineup the F22 and F23 head gasket.
The real question is why this hybrid? I'd suggest sticking with an OEM setup, because it will cause less problems in the long run. |
f23/f22 hybrids
I saw videos online and they were monster and I have two motors right now where I can try and do it. But what kind of problems would I be looking at

The ports for oil/coolant may not lineup. You will have to compare head gaskets for the two engines.
I don't know which timing belt will keep the cam/crank in time. Not sure which PCM would properly control the a/f ratio. I'm not sure what performance gain you would get out of doing this. If you want more HP, then the H22 is very common. Search the web for this type of hybrid, because someone may have tried it already. |
