Default flashing d4

transmission has been over revving when changing gears. when i come to a complete stop it will jerk. the flashing d4 just started. does this mean i need a new transmission? or am i looking to replace the module? if it is the module where is it located. 2001 honda accord lx

Flashing D4 means a trans trouble code is stored. Suggest having car scanned w/ Obd2 scanner at Autozone, et al. Post your code for further help.

Is your 2001 Accord, a 4-cyl LX?

i had the codes read and there are only 2. one is for o2 sensor and a knock sensor. and yes it is a 4-cyl a 2.3

There's a number of separate codes for O2 sensor & knock sensor. Do you have the error-code numbers?

For example P1234 or something like that.
