Default Front License Plate Bracket

So, my car gets nailed by it's first bird today. Not exactly sure how big the thing was, but I think it may have been a dinosaur or something. Anyway, my front bumper and license plate gets hit. When I come home, I decided to clean it. I notice that the front license plate bracket seems loose. There isn't any holes in my bumper and it seems to be mounted with two bolts underneath. This leaves the bracket kind of loose, especially on top. Is this normal? Just wondering how the front license plate bracket is supposed to be mounted on this car and if it leaves it loose since there isn't bolts going into the bumper.

Thanks

Thanks. I wasn't sure where it was supposed to go as it doesn't seem to be a technical issue.

What year? Most of them have 2 bolts at the bottom & one bolt centered on top. Some dealers don't put in the top screw in case you take off the front plate there's no ugly hole.

It's a new 2010. I think that may be what's going on. The two bolts are installed, but there is not one on top, so it's not tight to the car.

Since it's new, they might have tossed that screw in the glovebox or something. Otherwise maybe they'll just give you one when you point out it was missing.

Or just find something at a hardware store. It just screws straight into the plastic bumper skin.
