fuel pump replacement

Default fuel pump replacement

is there an access cover on the 1993 accord ex so i can replace the fuel pump with out having to drop the fuel tank?

Not sure on the 93 so hopefully someone else will pipe in. You will have an access port in the very front of the trunk. On the 94-97 it only accesses the fuel sending unit and you have to drop the tank to replace the fuel pump. It is likely the same on yours.

For the 90 Accord (likely same for 93), the first step in fuel pump replacement is "remove the fuel tank". Sorry.

If you can search my posts, I described my experience w/ 94 EX fuel pump replacement not too long ago.

Best to run fuel down as much as possible. I found draining the tank to be messy and tedious, and I was on dead empty.

can u access the fuel pump by pulling out the back seat? my old camrys were like that
