Default funny acceleration sound

I have a 2001 Accord and lately when I'm accelerating, I hear a low wump-wump-wump kind of fanning sound if that makes any sense. Also, the gas pedal tends to stick the first time I accelerate after starting the car. I had the transmission replaced after a recall a few years ago and I think this sound was similar. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

i bet you just plugged a tire or something... check your tires thoroughly for any objects stuck in the thread, fill the tires with air properly and stop listening to sounds ....

close to summer we drive with windows opened and we all hear sounds, now lets not get crazy about it.

i had the same sticky acceleration problem on my 99 ex. I had the acceleration cable and assembly cleaned, no more sticky acceleration.

yes indeed , there are 2 different problems.

the woomp woomp sound could be a piece of rubber from a tire plug - or a damaged tire,

the gas pedal sticks is another problem - to fix that you have to dissasemble the throttle body and clean it with Honda carburator cleaner. works like a charm.
