RE: gas mileage gone?

Just out of curiousity what were you getting before and what are you getting now? Are you still driving the same basic routes? Mainly freeway or In town driving?

I was just wondering when you noticed the drop in gas mileage and if your driving or driving style has changed to cause this to occure.... I was also curious what you're getting for mileage because I have a 94 EX as well and although I've never checked it I can put in a tank and try it out in a few days...

I have never actually taken the time to check my fuel mileage.... I was just curious what yours is compared to mine... I will put in a full tank of fuel and then find out what I am running... since we both have 94 Accord Ex's I thought it might be a good comparison... especially since mine is stock.

well i guess there is an outside chance maybe you have a brake pad dragging or some other type of rollin resistance. hows your alignment? is it an auto or manual. if its an auto and your torque converter stops locking then your gas mileage would probably go down too. i think thats probably unlikely though.

the question is though do i need a fuel pressure reg, throttle body spacer, or both to get better gas mileage?

You specifically said you did all these mods that "should" give you better gas mileage and you also said that your gas mileage recently became bad.

People are asking what your mileage was before and is now so they can better help you buy knowing how much of a change has happened.

Try responding to peoples questions, it tends to lead to better answers and help.

RE: gas mileage gone?

first i didnt say anywhere that these mods give me better g/m; i said with them it shouldn't be worse! so thanx for your none help answer.
i dont do my gas mileage.
what is happening is it takes more gas to get to work.
which means i know excactly by the gas hand is what it should say when i get home, and it is usining about 1/4 if not more than usual?
i just wont to know if either of these 2 mods wil help???
is it proven that a throttle body spacer works
and is it proven that a FPR helps g/m
i dont mean to be rude to some of you but it was just the question above ; do they work?
