Good '07 accord 4 cyl auto CV/Axle replacements

Hi All, Getting vibration in front end, and checked tires, bearings all that. About to take off the axle/cv joints to take a look.

Looked around for axle/cv assemblies, looks like not available from factory and ridiculous prices for parts. probably cost > 600 each if part by part replacements from Honda.

Found huge numbers of complaints about reman, e.g Cardone, and few other brands. And the cheapie new units are even worse.

Is there any good brand CV/Axle assembly that isn't complete junk? This is painful, no car and out of beer.

Have you tried rotating the tires to see if the vibration changes? That would at least eliminate the tires.

Thanks, yeah, I had gone through tires, and the shop balanced a few times. I don't have great confidence in them. These CV's are old, about 130k and 15 years old, So, thought Id replace them and see if the problem went away, since they probably haven't got long anyway.

I heard great reviews on APWI axles from Rock Auto causing me to opt for a set of them for my 2006 TL; 50,000 miles later they are still nice and smooth.

Thanks Shipo! I'll look them up.
