Grinding/ rubbing sound

Hello,

This thing started today.

There is metal grinding/rubbing noise coming from the engine area when I step on the gas pedal in the first approximately 10 feet after start, and I can feel the gas pedal vibrates. The sound and vibration don't last long, for a second maybe, then they go away and the car runs fine. This thing happened three times today already, each time within the first couple of feet of the drive. I'm a little bit worried if there's anything wrong in the transmission system. What can be the problem?

I have a 07 accoard v6.

Truly appreciated.

Perhaps the exhaust gusset. There are several postings online concerning the very same issue you've described occurring on Nissan... I'm still looking for one that deals with Honda

Just a shot in the dark, but could be related

When the car is cold, get it in the air - be safe. Start the car and see if there is a heat sheild that has come loose. When cold you should be able to put your hands on the pipes and sheilds without fear of burning you had.
