Headlight help and airbag light
I have a 2004 honda accord coupe EX and was wondering if I need to remove the front bumper if I want to put in a new headlight unit. I've heard from some people that you do and others say you don't.
Another thing is when I start my car, my "rear airbag off" light goes on, but this has only happened twice. Should I be concerned about this? Any help will be greatly appreciated guys. |
I think you DO need to remove the bumper to get at a couple fasteners for the headlamp housings.
Check your warranty booklet. Airbags should have a really long warranty. "Life of the vehicle" for my 2003. |
Is it easy to take off the bumper? I was told I just need to unscrew a lot of screws and that should be about it.

They always seem to hide fasteners where you can't quite reach them - I never understand why. Some inside the fender, or along the grille, or ??? Keep checking for movement as you remove fasteners to see what kind of creative hiding-places they've invented. |
