HELP! 1998 Broken clutch hose fitting

I have broken the clutch hose fitting on my on my 1998 honda accord that "clips" onto the clutch master cylinder. Honda said the fitting only comes with a new clutch hose which they do not stock. And if they did it would cost around $400. I really only need the fitting which looks like a hex nut with threads on the inside for the brake line to screw into and clips onto the clutch master cylinderhttps://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.hon...c9201cd26b.jpg

I'd say get one from a junkyard.

I can't tell how that piece fits into the hydraulic line between the master and slave cylinder. Another option is to look up the OEM part number on hondapartsnow.com and search ebay, etc for the part.

It looks like that's part of the MC, not part of the "hose" assembly. What about aftermarket MC? Majestic shows the MC discontinued but only $15 or so. There must be aftermarket MC available?

Not sure what's going on here, but when I just look at the forum list it shows ZERO replies. Hopefully this post will show as a reply...?

it comes on the hose. And no junkyard in bc have any 5 speed 6th gen accords. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.hon...f39ac1fdac.jpg

no, got a replacement MC and it doesn't come on it. Found a hose line on eBay/Amazon that comes with the fitting. But it'll still be $350/$400. Took 3 days but finally found a junkyard that has a 5speed 6th gen accord. Going to check it out this weekend 400km drive though.

Try ebay or car-part.com for a mail order part.

Pimplimpclint - I'm in the same boat you were in. The connector broke and I cant find it anywhere.

Tomorrow I am stopping by a couple salvage yards but I am skeptical they have it. I have found the complete clutch line assembly at several online honda stores however its very hard to tell if the connector/fitting is present on the line.

How did you resolve? If you purchased online did it have the fitting and if so can you link me where you made the purchase?

I appreciate your assistance
