Help -- Right Low Beam Broken
 

New bulb, fuse ok, connector ok, wtf??? Left low beam works fine.

PS- there is voltage at the fuse.

Is there a relay that could be bad? Seems odd to only lose one side. Man, I hope its not an wiring issue.

Suggestions?
Ideas?
Help!

On your 72 Pinto, it would be a wiring issue.
On your 2009 Accord, it would be a warranty issue.

Anything in-between, it would really help if we knew what car you were talking about.
Some years have multiplexers that do some of the switching. Headlight circuits are different from USA vs Canada cars...

Put your year/model in your signature, so we know what accord you are driving.

Unplug headlight connector, and turn on headllight. See if you have voltage to body ground on one pin. If you have 12V, then check for continuity to body ground on the other pin.

I had some strange headlight problems, that were corrected by sanding the ground connector that had gotten corroded over time.

My signature does contain my car info. Why isn't it showing up in the post?

Anyone know where would I find a wiring diagram for the headlight circuits?

OK, in the under-hood fusebox, fuses 1, 2, 3, 4 are the headlamps; right low beam is #4.

There's also a switching module (looks like a relay?) in that fusebox. It gets a signal from the headlight switch through a white wire. There's really not much else to the circuit.

That switching module has the following circuits:
Low beams (both of them)
High beams (both of them)
Parking/marker lights (all together)

Since that switching module doesn't have separate circuits for right & left side, your problem must be "downstream" of there. It looks like the circuit splits R&L inside the fusebox. Check to see whether fuse #4 is getting power. Bent contacts where the fuse plugs in??

Each headlight cluster has one combined ground, so high & low use the same ground on each side. If your right high-beam works, then the lamp ground must be OK.

I have the same problem (Right Low Beam does not work on 2006 EX Accord). Replaced bulb, checked fuse. Both High Beams work and Left low beam works. I will check for voltage at the low beam fuse. I can hear a relay click in the engine compartment fuse box when I turn on low beam but not sure which one it is as the cover does not indicate a headlamp relay. Any advice?

A few things first.....right is the pass side of a car in North America (LHD).

So there is a fuse in the underhood fuse box for the headlights. The manual I have lists that as #6 (10amp). So I would re-check that and then if good check for voltage and ground at the connector on the headlight bulb.
