Help with Side Skirt
I am replacing the passenger side side skirt on a 2006 accord four door. I am removing a stock skirt with some minor damage and replacing it with a stock skirt I ordered from Ebay. I have not had time to jack the car up high enough to get a good look underneath.
My only question is, are there any special tools or parts I will need? I know there are a couple screws near the front and rear wheel wells, but am I missing anything else? I know some newer cars love to use plastic pegs that typically break while removing them and I want to know now if I'll need to order anything before I remove the side skirt. Thanks everyone for advice. |
The following instructions are for a coupe; however, it is pretty much the same procedures for removing the exterior side sill panel/skirt on your sedan.

are the rubber pads necessary? Will I get squeaks or cause future damage or anything at all if I do not use them? If they are necessary can these be purchased at any parts store such as Napa?
Thanks redbull that .pdf will help a lot |
Those rubber pads are included with Honda's accessory side skirt for the coupe.
The stock side sill panel/skirt probably does not include the rubber pads and are not shown as part of the service manual instructions. |
