Help with thermostat!!

Hi I have 94 accord ex. 4cycl, 4dr ex. Recently it's been overheating and I think it's the thermostat, but I dont' know where it is. Can some one please clearly explain where it is and explain if there is anything I have to remove, besides the hose connected to the thermostat, before I can replace the thermostat. If you have a picture that would be nice too. please help I really need to drive this car.....i'm freakin burning out....help now....

RE: Help with thermostat!!

follow the hose that goes to the radiator to the engine, where it bolts to the engine, that is where the thermostat is, i believe...its been a while since i have worked on one, but it should be there.

RE: Help with thermostat!!

yep they kinda put it on the left side of the engine on the back -- just follow the big hose from the bottom of radiator that goes to the left side of the engine between the wires. Theres air bleeder bolt on the thermostat housing too - ( note : not the main hose in the middle )

but again - why do you think it's thermostat , and why do you think it's not other parts of the cooling system?

DO NOT tell me that "someone told you it's thermostat" <----- I wanna hear that you actually tested it!! Do not become PARTS CHANGER!!

...trying to teach people but they nevery learn
