high beams wont turn off after wiring disaster

So my high beams are stuck on since my wiring was shredded due to my fender liner being ripped out by a crack in the freeway. All my wiring for my passenger side lights was ripped out and then rewired but now my high beams won't disengage. Replaced all relays and fuses to no avail. If a positive and negative are switched could that be the cause?

If lights are always On w/ low beam selected, either Light Relay (underhood fuse box) is somehow shorted or wiring short to supply voltage on Red/Yel wire to the lights;

or the On/Off stem switch is shorted closed or wiring short to ground. Check voltage on Blu/Red wire to stem switch w/ stem switch in OFF position. If 0V, then switch is shorted to ground, or 12V switch is open.

If you don't have a wiring diagram, download a manual from Online Manuals post in DIY forum. Any of 90-93 will work for your car.

good luck

The problem with tracing wires is my wire tuck. All wires are in the cowl and fender

Fixing problem will require tracing power/ground from original wires to new wires. Likely an improper connection somewhere. Circuit diagram will still help.

good luck
