Default Highbeamsintermittently working

My brights were intermittently working, so I thought that the fix would be replacing the turn signal combination switch. (I know that I should have diagnosed, but I was out of town when this happened).

A few days after replacing it (everything was working normally) the pass. headlamp and turn signal turned off. Also the right turn signal indicator was remainded on and was a faint green color. The simple fix was to whack the pass. headlamp and the problem was fixed.

Tonight both highbeams weren't working again, but the normal lights and turn signals worked fine.

Hitting the lamp suggests that I have a wiring problem. I attached the wiring diagram of the headlights, because I am not great at reading these. The G402/404 appear to be the grounds, but they are located behind the dash/console. Are there other grounds near the headlamps that I can check as well?

I'm open for any other possible faults and any test procedures as well. Thanks.

Not necessarily

if the high beam come on when you hit the side , first thing i would do is to chk the bulbs itself , yes ,,both bulbs, i have seen them go bad at the same time ,, sometimes when the bulb filement are loose they do not make good contact . when you hit the side, it will jar it just enought to make lites come on ,,
I would replace at least one ( if you have not replaced the high beam bulbs yet ) to see if it stays on all the time

also the ground for the high beam is g-403 located rt side under dash kick panel rt side of blower motor ..
it gives ground to the headlite dimmer realy which is located in the under dash fuse box , next to the headlite relay,, if the dimmer relay is no good you will loose ground on both the orange/white wires which is the ground wires for the high beams ( both high beams have the same ground wires )
So when high beams do not work you need to chk if you are getting ground at the orange/white wires ,,
if you are , wiring, relay and ground source are ok,, might be a power issue or bad bulbs, but you want to properly diagnose it before rteplacing parts ,
