Honda settlement transmission replacement
 

Hi guys,

I am about to replace my Honda 2001 transmission under settlement.
The guy in the dealership is telling me that there is no warranty at all on replaced transmission.
Can it be true? What if it goes bad in a couple of month? I would expect Honda to warrant it at least for year.

Please let me know if you have got different terms in your area.

That is bogus information, the replacement trans will carry the warranty as if it came in a new car. Not the entire car being as a new warranty, just the transmission.

I will call Honda tomorrow to check on this.
I am not sure if they will give 3 years warranty as on the new car, but at least 1 year would make sense.
