Horn Stuck ....

So today around 6am my horn was stuck ...... woke up all my neighbors  so i had to remove my my batt. What could it be my wife said that it happened a few weeks ago too. Both times it has been raining and foggy.
Where should i start looking.

For starters, unplug the horn.

Most likely horn buttons or cable reel is defective. If the buttons depress and return, a cable reel fault seems more likely, but could still be buttons.

Look through Online Manuals post in DIY forum for a download for your year/trim Accord. Post this info in your signature line so it's always presented w/ a post.

If you have a security system installed, this might be a fault in that system.

good luck

good luck

Well i dont have a alarm so that is eliminated as an issue. I will remove the horn and check the buttons.

I bet you are the talk of the neighborhood......6am on a Holiday.

Anyway, to add. Know that as usual for Honda's, the horn works when ground is applied. On the 96 there is a relay that supplies the ground.

EDIT: Since you and another member are having horn issues today, thought this might help if you don't have it already.
