RE: horrible problem
Did yourule outwiring problems (loose/dirty/corroded plugs) first?
|
RE: horrible problem
yea i have ruled out wiring problems i honestly think but i dont know maybe computer problem or it jumped time
|
RE: horrible problem
Yeah, check cam timing - thats not too hard to rule it out.
ECU is generally pretty robust so I tend to think of other stuff first. |
RE: horrible problem
what would cause the car to throw a CKP code
|
RE: horrible problem
Is the check engine light flashing? Limp-home mode >3500 rpm limit
|
RE: horrible problem
have you checked the obvious? the crank position sensor? If it's unplugged the engine will not start. it may be damaged or have excessive debris on/arounf it
|
RE: horrible problem
yes i checked the sensor and it is plugged in and when it is started the check engine light doesn't blink
|
RE: horrible problem
There are several crankshaft position sensor errors. What specific error code do you get from the ECU.
good luck |
RE: horrible problem
1994 is OBD-1 so I think theres only one CKP code (4).
|
RE: horrible problem
i only got one code from the check engine light and that was 4 ive searched all week and i finally got another ecu u for the car now it will rev past 3500 rpm put it still runs like shyt

RE: horrible problem
