Default How To Adjust Headlights?

My headlights seem to be pointing too low. Does anyone have detailed instructions on the proper method of adjustment? My fog lights are nearly useless as well, so if there's a way to adjust those, I'd like to know that as well.

Thanks...

I know your supposed to park your car in front of a garage door or wall. About 6 feet away. Behind your headlights I believe you will see 2 phillip head screws with springs on them. Its a strange looking contraption. Turning these left or right with your headlights on allows you to adjust height of the beam and angle. Thats how it works on my 97 accord. I imagine its similar. Good luck.

it should be very similar, you may need a rather long screwdriver to adjust them though....

Ok, but if I'm parked six feet from a wall, what's the proper elevation?

I'm taking this from my VERY poor memory but I believe that at 6 feet distance you want them to be centered (brightest spot) at about 3-4 feet up...

first off, make sure car is on level ground, jump on both bumpers to stabilize the car , if tank is full of gas , it is even better also if you can find a person that weight about as much as you to sit in the driver seat ..
have the center of the headlite about 25 ft form a wall , turn the low beam on,, measure the height on the wall where the lite shines should be abot 2-2.2 inches below headlite , if it needs adjusting. open the hood and at the back of the hesdlite assembly there is a slot where you can put a phillip screwdriver in and turn the adjuster screw accordingly
