Default How to replace a mast antenna?

Hello,

Just recently my laptop fell off the car roof right into the antenna while driving and smashed it in half. (Indestructible thinkpad, so the laptop still works fine ) I am wondering what size /type of antenna to replace it with and how difficult the repair would be. It is a mast antenna located to the left side of the trunk and accessing the unit is not an issue, I am just not familiar with the terminology of the plugs/adapters and what to buy.

Thanks much!!!

So you bent the retractable part of the antenna? Dose the motor still try to raise/lower the antenna?

from inside the trunk, it looks like the antenna is not motorized. The antenna mast itself (the 'metal' part. Is what has been broken, yes.
